Roofing Before & After in Los Angeles, CA
Roofing claims are easy to make and hard to verify. Before-and-after photos change that. They show what we found under the shingles, how we fixed it, and what the finished roof looks like from the curb. Every project below is real work in Los Angeles neighborhoods. No stock photos, no staged shots. Just what happens when a roof gets done right the first time.

Asphalt Shingle Replacement in Silver Lake
Before
AfterThe homeowner called us after a windstorm tore a section of shingles off the south-facing slope. When we pulled back the remaining shingles, the decking underneath was worse than expected: water stains across three sheets of plywood and soft spots near the chimney flashing. We replaced the damaged decking, installed new synthetic underlayment, re-flashed the chimney with proper step flashing and counter-flashing, then laid the new shingles with a matching ridge cap. The finished roof carries a written guarantee, and if anything fails inside 365 days, we return at no charge under the Done Right Promise.
Flat Roof Repair in Mid-Wilshire
Before
AfterFlat roofs in older Los Angeles neighborhoods take a beating from the summer sun. This one had blistered and cracked along the seams, and water was finding its way into a hallway ceiling during winter rains. We stripped the failed membrane, repaired the underlying insulation where it had gone spongy, and mechanically fastened a new TPO membrane with heat-welded seams. The seams are now the strongest part of the roof, not the weakest. The homeowner got a written price before we started and a written guarantee before the crew left.
Roof Leak Repair in Sherman Oaks
Before
AfterLeaks around skylights are one of the most common repair calls we get in the Valley. This one had been “fixed” twice before by another company, and the caulk they’d smeared around the curb was already separating when we arrived. We pulled the skylight, replaced the rotted curb framing, installed new step flashing and a proper sill pan, then re-set the skylight with fresh sealant. The homeowner told us the ceiling stain hasn’t grown a millimeter since. That’s the kind of result a written guarantee in your hand actually covers.
Tile Roof Restoration in Hancock Park

Clay tile roofs look permanent, but the underlayment beneath them wears out long before the tile does. This Hancock Park home had cracked tiles and a failing underlayment that let water run down the roof deck and into the eaves. We lifted the tile, replaced the old felt with a high-performance synthetic underlayment, swapped the broken tiles with matching clay, and re-bedded the ridge tiles. The roof keeps its original 1920s character with a waterproof system underneath that’ll outlast the next several Los Angeles rain seasons.
Roof Replacement After Storm Damage in Woodland Hills

Wind-driven rain hits the west Valley hard, and this roof had lost its drip edge along the north eave. Without drip edge, water wicked back under the shingles and rotted the fascia board. We replaced the fascia, installed new drip edge along the full perimeter, laid new Owens Corning Duration shingles, and finished with proper ridge venting. The result is a roof that sheds water exactly the way it should, from the peak to the gutter. The homeowner chose Owens Corning after we walked through all seven manufacturers we carry, including GAF, CertainTeed, IKO, Atlas, Tamko, and Boral.
Low-Slope Roof Replacement in Atwater Village

Low-slope additions are common in Atwater Village, and they fail differently than pitched roofs. This one had gone so long without maintenance that the torch-down surface had split in a dozen places. We tore off the old material, checked the decking for rot, and installed a two-ply modified bitumen system with granulated cap sheet. The granulated surface holds up better against Los Angeles UV than smooth asphalt, and it looks better from the second-story window too.
